What is the PTE Exam?

Overview of Exam Sections: –
Speaking & Writing
This portion of PTE is made up of 28 – 36 different questions and you need to answer them all in 54 – 67 minutes as it is considered as the longest section of PTE exam and you need to give your best introduction, read aloud, repeat sentences, describe image, answer short type questions, summarize written test and essay writing. Reading
There can be 13 – 18 questions in this task in which you have to read a paragraph of about 80 words to attempt fill in the blanks and to solve multiple choice questions you are going to read a long paragraph of 300 words and to complete all this all you have is just 30 minutes.
Listening
As it is the final section of the test it will provide you a time limit of 45 minutes to 1 hour in which you have to summarize spoken text, answer multiple choice questions, fill in the blanks, highlight correct summary, select the missing words and highlight the incorrect words.
Scoring System (0-90 Scale)
There are two types of evaluation of score of PTE Exam one is overall score and other is communicative skills score in listening, reading, speaking and writing and basically the overall score is considered by the universities which ranges between 10 to 90 points and the minimum acceptable scores by the university’s ranges between 58 to 73 and you can score more with help of most scoring sections that are repeat sentences, dictation writing and essay writing.
